Hi,

Currently I am trying to find a well balanced team to run with me as rit primary. My big issue is that I am going for survivor the normal way (missions+vanq) so I need to find a well balanced team. Up to now I have run 3 necro, 2 mes and 2 rits. Since I am running a SoS bar myself, I have had some trouble finding hero rit bars that fits well. Which lead me to think that 2 AoD heroes might be a better for for me? It has great healing, and decent damage, more damage that the rits bring at least. I can easily fit splinter weapon on my bar by dropping vampirism.

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Edit: I should also mention that I am currently doing DoA so I have a very small margin for error.

Try an offensive Communing / Resto ritualist

SOGM,
Pain,
Anguish,
Shadowsong,
Spirit light,
Mend body and soul,
Signet of Creation
Boon of creation

Attributes:
Communing 12+4
Resto 12+1
Spawning power 4

Basically its you as SoS/whatever you wanna throw in there
ST rit with shelter/union and with 9 command for Stand your ground
SOGN/resto ritualist

Works out just fine

If you want your survivability increased, i suggest adding 2 mesmers.

One using panic and one using Psychic instability.
These 2 are able to shot down enemys very efficiently.

You should know that doing DoA with heros and being a survivor is a truly bad combination. If i were you id stay away from DoA untill you are r3

If your going the whole 9 yards with Spirit Spamming (Pain, Vampirism, Bloodsong etc.) Then that eliminates the use of an SoGM. What you can do is use one AoD and one Channeling Support so the AoD provides decent AoE healing and damage. If you're going for SoS channeling, then it's going to be a pain to cast Splinter on minions .

If you're trying to survive through DoA, you really really want a soul twister rit IMO. Foundry is just asking for something to go wrong otherwise. If you fit all the channel/commune offense on your own bar, then you still need 1 rit to do the defensive ones. You might fit in a little more party heals with recup and rejuv on that twister.

What you could swap out is one of your crappier discord necs for an AoD, they'd probably do more damage just by spearing through splinter weapon, let alone melee...

Don't do Survivor with the DoA. Just don't, not with heroes, not with players. It's pretty much a guarantee you'll die at some point, particularly in foundry, but often in other areas too.

Thanks for the feedback! I could possible switch out a necro since I am not actually running a discord bar. I just prefer using them because they are easy to customize and change depending on the area I am doing. Based on the suggestions here I will rather switch out the offensive rit for a single AoD dervish.
